New age tech is catching up with a guy so I need to up my game to protect myself against getting busted by the missus. With this find my iPhone and tracking history on the phones these days, I need to know if I leave my cellphone at the office and divert my calls to my punting phone, will it work or is there someway of it back firing and i need to think of a explanation. My wife doesn't track me but it will certainly make her less suspicious if I can tell her that she can if she wants to. Ha ha maybe I must start tracking her phone

Will work, just don't phone her from the punting phone.

In my humble opinion, If she is not checking up on you then don't open Pandoras box by telling her that she can. A simple text to say that you are going into a meeting or out for a site visit and that you will contact her when you are back goes a long way to her leaving you be...well in my case, anyway.

I always phone my wife a few minutes before going into the point and tell her that I am about to go into a meeting for the next hour - in that way she does not call me

Install the various apps that allow you to fake a location (you choose a location on the map).

Here is why - lets say:
A crazy Jozi taxi crashes fatally into you...
You have cardiac arrest at the office...
Your parachute and reserve both fail to open during a sky diving weekend...
You die in a freaky quad-biking accident...
Another freaky happens while scuba-diving...

So the Mrs (and teen kids) go to the office to clear your things & FIND IT (company says it aint theirs) and then ....

Thats what was going through my mind. And heaven help you if you survived whatever you survived, you will wish you died after they find that phone. All good and well having a punting phone but it should be wiped every time you use it.
