MI great post, as men we shop with our eyes. these pointers will go a long way but you underestimate the current economic climate, there is a genuine cash crunch in process in the country.
I recently compared my earnings and budget from when I was living in South Africa to where I live now, and it was frightening. I earned R50k+ a month after tax and between a R2.5 million mortgage, car, insurance, policies, utilities and other living costs it did not make for good reading. I lead a comfortable life but I was precipitously close to the edge living on what one would consider a basic life of having a house, car and trying to save for the future. The likelihood that your punters are playing on credit is very high or at the minimum they feeding the habit by robbing peter to pay paul.
If you think about the family men who have the added costs of school fees, extra car, general family costs etc. There literally is no money for people to play as much as they used to.
The hard times are here.

Here's one for the bullies: End of the month comes and your boss says he's only paying you 75% of your pay because it's quiet. Would you like it? Certainly not.
So next time you want to bargain & bully think before you open your trap.

Hey, all you lovely Pretoria & Johburg ladies! Business seems to be slow due to the vast choice of lovely ladies the Gauteng punters have! Cape Town currently has only 85 ads, and only a handful are worth visiting. On top of that the better ones charge ridiculous prices due to the lack of competition. I have a luxury studio apartment with 24 hour security, DSTV and unlimited fibre internet right in the Central CBD ( Adderley street) that I rent out on Airbnb. I am prepared to rent it out to upmarket ladies wishing to have a working holiday in our lovely city at a 50% discount. You are welcome to pm me for details. I do not expect any freebies or special treatment.

I agree with Meg's statement and would like to add the following:
What to do if you get quiet:
Constantly reassess your:
* Presentation:
Dress, Hair, Nails, feet, grooming must be top notch!
* Marketing -
Place more adverts,
Don't throw your money into sites that don't work!
Change your photo's regularly,
Set yourself as avail every hour,
Write on the ESA forum that you are around and about your offerings, let them see your personality and how much fun you can be.
* Pricing-
Run a special for the week.
Add extra treatments like a free body scrub or a free BJ to your sessions.
R500 in your pocket is better than zero!
* Phone communication skills-
Change your sales pitch, try saying things differently.
Be friendly and flirt.
Know that he chose to call you from 3000 ladies, half the work is already done.
* Services -
Learn new skills to ensure you are at the top of your game.
Go onto the internet and learn new ways to do things.
Don't for one moment think you know it all, there are so many treatments one can learn that can make you stand out from the rest.
People that constantly sit around making excuses why they are not busy please understand:
It has nothing to do with:
It's School holidays,
It's quiet,
It's a Bad time of the month and
It's The economy, it's cold or it's raining or it's Friday or Saturdays are always quiet!
It's all about YOU,
YOUR Presentation of yourself,
YOUR services,
YOUR prices and
YOUR marketing and
YOUR attitude!
Remembering it's like any other business!
Sending love and light to you all.
