jjsoap, The point is - we will always misunderstand each other as certain Afrikaans phrases are better left in Afrikaans instead of trying to translate it to English.
To translate something from Afrikaans to English is not easy and visa versa, as you lose the expression or meaning of it completely. The message is not carried over like you would want it to be.
