Yolan...I will admit; if I love I love with all my heart.I DO give to much and care TO MUCH
Problem with today's men; they don't know how to handle that kind of love and attention.
They call (name) it needy or clingy.
You have sex to fall inlove; we fall in love overall to have sex.
I've heard in the past that I'm to much.
But one day I'll be just enough for someone who could love me the same way or even more.
For now I'm content/happy in keeping the purple world happy.

But would like to call someone my own again in the future.

Yes I regret alot of things in my past.
Left it there and only tri and beta myself or the situation in the next relationship.
Not even that worked. (Sad to say every one has different needs).

But it's unhuman to think you can keep the whole world happy and at the end of the day your the one that's getting hurt and paying the price for giving your all.

Different strokes for different folks

I guess the closure part is the most difficult ....not many people get the closure they need ....sometimes it's immaturity and selfishness on of the person who does not want to play his or her part .

Breakups don't necessarily have to end bitter regardless on what the stigma is around this topic . I believe that your personal morals play a big part in how you walk away from something ....granted there are different circumstances in each situation but I have seen many situations that turned bitter for reasons that did not warrant such behavior

This thread caught my eye a few days ago...im not a chatty guy, but here goes...

I think its a personality trait that differs from person to person, regardless of gender. Imo, it mostly stems from previous relationships and builds your character and defence when it comes to breakups and regret. As the saying goes.."once bitten..twice shy".
Regret is an ugly thing for some people....it sometimes shows weakness and if that feeling takes over, the self defence mode kicks in and..only my opinion...thats when some people shut off completely, not needing closure or answers.
Personally I carry regret in a big way...I always wonder what I could have done differently...or wonder if I made other choices could I have saved the relationship? Im that guy...even should it not be any of my doing, I would still have regret and carry blame within myself.
Dont get me wrong, I have done stupid things to destroy a relationship with what could have been the love of my life...and for that I am truly regretful...I might never get over it..who knows? But then, thats who I am...not because Im a man or weak...but because Im a person who was sculpted this way by my past experiences.
That being said...every regretful decision or experience I go through teaches me something about myself and my decisions. Every relationship, failed or fantastic shows me my flaws and strengths.
I will embrace regret, because thats who I am and it makes me stronger. I will learn from it and I will be a better person because of it....

@yolan
I couldnt agree more. But sometimes one has to roll with the punches...then again all people are different and handle situations differently and that is what makes life exciting. Otherwise if we were all the same, just think how boring life would be...
