The [QUOTE;1271661;YourChunkyFunkiness] I know that the brain keeps functioning for seven minutes after the heart stops. That's about as much as I know on the subject...[/QUOTE

The brain keeps functioning for 10 minutes after your heart has stopped and about 4 sec if your decapitated.

Daaaaamn.... Who would've thought that somewhere out there there was a douche bag scientist/doc who measured brain activity after a motherfucker lost his head. 4 seconds, lol!

I'm sure after they measured 4 seconds they'd be like - "yeah, this here motherfucker, he dead. Lets stick our fingers up his nostrils and use his head like bowling ball!"

This is a very strange question to ask or even be thinking about, very morbid in my opinion. What do you hope to get out of it?

Seen videos of prison riots in Brazil. After decapitations inmates play a bit of football with the heads. Crazy shit.

@Bongsanity since you interested in decapitations check out liveleak.com and livegore.com Warning - not for the faint of heart

Its more anecdotal than actual evidence but there are a lot of stories from the French revolution that when the aristocracy were being guillotined the heads would respond for at least a few minutes after the event. Obviously, they couldnt talk because they are disconnected from the lungs, but if you called their name the eyes would look at you. Or so the story goes...
