Good luck, gents. I'm certain that ESA has seen all the pleas and that most are not happy with this new language policy. Their position is clear on the issue.

From the outside looking in, it seems like you are all trying to achieve the impossible. With that being said, trying never killed anyone (let's hope it doesn't get others banned), so good luck.

The impossible became the possible with ESA offically asking for input into this. So lets be constructive when giving our views on the ESA thread.

I support this as well. You've hit the nail on the head. No problem with an English only forum, but be REALISTIC is all. One word in the wrong language is definitely not a good enough reason to ban somebody.

Having paid the price for one word... I have to agree... but I do understand the issue in the office... maybe get an english/afrikaans Dictionary instead of having to google? Keep the forum English. And make it the Preferred language. Believe like in the past everyone wil stick to it but they won't get banned for a typo.

Nothing wrong with the previous language policy (no language policy at all).

Anyway...I dont post that much anymore (see "Are you having fun" thread) that it really affects me that much.

But ja (yes)....change it back to the way it was......what I think.

That would be great, I see a lot of Afrikaans and other South African language speaking members don't participate anymore...:-(
