When you buy a phone the number use will be registered on your name ; you need a proof of residence; I'D and and. That's why I don't post anything under my working number. Yes I've seen a few regular x clients from esa as friend suggestions. But I block them all.

And i respect my clients personal lifes like they should do mine.

If you going to buy a prepaid phone - pep, etc - then chuck out the SIM card and buy one for R5 from the Pakistani cell shops. Problem solved.

Oh yes, I forgot about truecaller. Its crazy out here. I reckon people should not use their primary cell number for this industry. You are leaving trails that can be easily traced. I know it's been said before, but I strongly advice everyone to use a burner phone. It's the logical thing to do

Which sim card was in the phone?

If you buy any phone with a simcared rica'ed on your name it will still link you to it... vest vey is get a cheap phone and go get an already rica'ed sim for R10...

Don't download truecaller and enter your real name if u download true called ad your punting name...

As with true caller we all know who the real caller is.

Stay safe punt clever... get a cheap 199 phone with no whatsapp or apps...

But Chas, won't a cell shop also ask for id when selling a sim card?

I don't think the cell shops that's not linked to cell c; Vodacom or MTN will ask for you I'd.
But you even need to show your I'd and proof of residence when doing a simple swop.
That I found out when I wanted to put all my clients numbers on another phone.

technology is making the world a very small place indeed. everything is linked to everybody everywhere. staying anonymous is very difficult. you rely on people to be discreet with your personal information.

Buy a cheap non smart phone....a sim from one of the shops in Fordsburg/Observatory etc. Dont be tempted to see the whatsapp profile of the girl from your regular phone.
