Can you please help me understand. I ask so that I may make an informed decision on matters varying from visiting the establishment to tipping.

1. Whats the average percentage that a SP gets after I pay the host/receptionist/mamasan at a venue? So if I pay R1k, does the SP get R900? Or maybe a fixed salary?
2. Behind the scenes, is there a slot time-table? Meaning, if I choose say a time from 10-11, is the SP under pressure to get me out by 11 for your next appointment at 11, or is there a 30 minute turnaround buffer.
3. Is the SP expected to make a monthly income target- incentivised type sliding payscale?
4. Do venues provide the same benefits as companies do: sick leave, annual leave, retirement contributions, etc.?
5. Does the host expect a tip as well?
6. Who pays for the advertising: SP or venue?

I ask in a bona-fide manner. Thanks everyone!

Typically venues takes about 50% of the booking fee.
There is no fixed salary and no benefits and therapists often also pay for their own advertising.

Yes there is pressure to turn rooms at most venues.

Most venues do not set targets and therapist pretty much work when they want to.

Besides venues lots of therapists work from private homes who caters mostly for clients wanting a bit more privacy. Not all houses charges a 50% fee for the room but a lot less than that.
This works well not only for clients but for therapists too as this hugely influence prices charged and income of a therapist. I know of a few houses where the room fee is only between R300 or R150 depending of the duration of the booking.

@Executive123,

As a venue owner, here are some answers based on how TDH works.

1. The house takes between R200-R300 for the room fee depending on the booking and duration.

2. There are "time slots" yes, but we do not rush our guests out the door and do not make back to back bookings. The time slots serve as an indicator as to approximately what time either the lady or the room will become available again.

3. No

4. Ladies are entitled to sick leave and annual leave of course! Retirement provisions etc are up to the individual ladies to make provision for.

5. No. ( ladies also don't "expect " tips, but always appreciate it. A tip is ALWAYS at your discretion and should never be asked of you )

6. At TDH the ladies pay for their own individual ads. In my opinion their profiles act like a purple world curriculum vitae, and when a lady moves on to a next venue, she should be able to move her profile with her.

Sir GK, you would make a killing in this industry. There are many "lonely" house executives that would be very happy to make use of that "body" of yours.

In my case, well hope Lady S requires a garden boy or cleaner.

The ladies does share their chocolates with the owner at TDH. Not sure if it is because they are scared or just out of decency. The jury is out on that one.
