People in general always say or rather offer "If I can help with anything, let me know" and "If you need anything just ask"

But when the time came when I had to make a choice between entering the industry or just sit at home on welfare, I quickly realized that there were very little people actually willing to help like they promised to.

I read on Facebook a "friend" of mine posted about her new domestic lady and the conversation the two of them had. Her domestic mentioned that she chose to clean home because she wasnt born to hold a dick in her hand.

This made me realize that sooo many people see this industry as one thing and one thing only. This different and incocorrect perception Hollywood has planted into our brains of a girl fucking strangers for money to buy drugs in order to be high for her next client. Somehow when I say I am in the industry this is the first thing people think of me. Not that I am saying it is completely wrong and doesnt happen to other girls, but it certainly is not even close to what and who I am.

Back to the point of asking for help when needed. I found that these empty promises of help was one of the things that made my choice clear of what to choose.

Be at home, get blacklisted. Lose yourself in depression.
Or, make the best of a bad situation.

And I must say, where I am now...I have never felt this alive. I have never felt thisin control of my life and happy. I never imagined I would meet so many amazing people whether it was a client or fly by night colleague...

So to those people, friends and family who offered there "sincere" help; fuck you very much.

Strangers are more giving than family will 'ever' receive. As cryptic as this is, it is quiet simple to understand.

Strangers will offer support, love and guidance than the people you have known all your life, people whom you love the most and someone you call your best friend.

Strangers can even come to you as messengers to provide you with whatever good/bad thing you need. They can also serve as lightworkers and some can even destroy your life. It doesn't matter where, when and how you meet them they will always be there. Some come to stay, some come as passer-bys and some come to visit but just for a little while.

We can't choose families we are born into but can choose to learn their ways. They will remain with us for the time they are borrowed to us. The promises made are hard to keep from the giving end yet it is a lesson to find your own path, heal and stand on your own foundation. What doesn't kill you, can only make you strong through all trials and tribulations. We might be hurt by their promises but each had a part to play in your life for a purpose as much as you have a role to play too.

Remember not to be resentful, remain as you are. Be the kind and compassionate person you know yourself to be. When one door closes another is waiting to be opened and this is why now you feel in control of yourself as so not to be accustomed to certain rules in life that congested your free spirit.

This has now become your awakening, your chasm and so embrace the new and the past will rewrite itself. Your future has got a lot of potential which shouldn't slip off your hands. Remember to forgive then all of your dreams shall be revealed one step at a time.

I've also been told the same plenty times, even been "helped" and plunged right back into previous predicament by same helper.

When people lift an eyebrow about my profession I just normally ask if they would buy me a bread when I'm hungry?

I have to agree ... fuck what people say or think. The ladies here are doing what they have to, to make ends meet and get by. Fishing rather than getting a hand out.
Whether you're cleaning a House, being a reception or doing admin Work we have to do what we can to get by.

Society has unfortunately formed norms as to what is right and what is wrong. The minute you step out of the "circle" you are judged by many people.
