U require proof of income/payslip. Proof of residence and 3 months bank statements.
So having a certified copy of ID is not sufficient.

Opening of store accounts
Same as above.

Also Most loans are are paid directly into your bank account. So you cannot present and ID which read Mr A and bank account for Mr B.

So I do not think there is much one can do with a certified copy of an ID.

Maybe someone who works in the bank can verify.

I concur. You see it on Carte Blanch, you hear it from people you know. There are many ways to skin a cat in todays time. So many scammers out there and with technology, your world is your oyster!
