"Yes, but"


Just stick to the f-ing topic at hand, don't agree with a "yes" and then try and justify using a completely unrelated subject.

A positive response, that are a lot more exceptable."

"But" is seen as a negative response to a positive confirmation.

The word "but" actually takes the "yes" out of the meaning of yes.

It's like "I hear what you're saying", which while true in the sense that someone did actually hear the words, really includes an implicit, unsaid "... but you're talking crap"

Type "however" into MS-Word, mouse over, right click, synonyms include "but"
