Needing some punting etiquette guidance.

I don't have a punting phone, but have a second WhatsApp account in my secure folder which gives me confidentiality and stays away from prying eyes.

The problem is that lots of girls like a phone call to vet their prospective clients, which I respect.

So is a WhatsApp call acceptable or not?

I'm not talking a sleazy video call but legit WhatsApp call.

Indeed.

To set up, you need to have an alternative working number.

You set up the second WhatsApp account and then authenticate with the second phone.

Once done, you can toss the sim card away and use both WhatsApp accounts with one phone and one sim.

From ready various threats on the "Whatapp" technolgy as a way of communication, apart from "sleazy content", the biggest gripe is the cost to the lady. A Whatsapp call uses her data, even more so than a pm or whatsapp text message

As far as "voice only" communications are concerned the technology used, does not prevent the punter from being disrespectful, that is just how he is.

And also after a switch of whatapps account, when you want to go back to the original number, you need to wait at least 6 hours I think. I cannot remember the exact length of time, but it is at least 6 hours.

A WhatsApp call uses 0.15mb to 0.20mb of data per participant.

Even at R1 per mb (which is the highest prepaid rate around), and considering a call of 5 mins, that's a maximum cost of R1 to the receiver.

Doesn't seem too ridiculous?

I vote "no" to WhatsApp calls being acceptable. There should be no cost at all to the lady nor a requirement for the lady to have WhatsApp installed or data loaded to receive your booking.

No use preaching to the converted. I just echoed what I saw on previous discussions.

The cost of a pm or whatsapp is even less than mentioned above.

Sweety in your play store there are many clone apps that you can download to clone WhatsApp and hide it on ur phone so u don't need to switch between multiple accounts that app allows you to have 2 different accounts at the same time the 1 I uses is WhatsApp clone being using it for almost years

I'm not sure I understand.
I run both accounts at the same time.

Can even send a message from me to me and see it coming through.
