So I contacted a lady and asked her rates and services. She told me it's X amount for FH. I say Shap!

Then I ask until what time are you working? To which she responds she works until very late, no worries.

So I say ok pencil me in for a booking for 17h00 till 18h00.

Then she says that's fine but her rates goes up by another R200 from 17h00.

Now I don't have a problem paying the R200 as I was planning on tipping her on top of the original quoted price anyway. But doesn't something like that kinda already put a damper on the booking and makes a punter weary of shit service to follow as she is already hustling him before he's even set foot on her premises? And it's his first visit to her.

Makes me nervous...might waste some good money now that could've been spent elsewhere.

Or is this a standard thing where ladies push up prices after certain hours in the evening? Am I being oversensitive?

GreyKnight...

The next thing you come to find is that everything becomes an extra that you have to pay for in addition such as but not limited to hugging, kissing, blow, etc...

Gold digger...

My 2c contribution to the gold digging thread.

JPS

That's what I'm afraid of sir...

I've been punting for 6 years and this is a first for me where a lady said this.

I'm thinking of cancelling. Weary of sub-standard service.

Personally, i would have cancelled. If her 'hours' are till late, then its most certainly not 'overtime', i think she's taking a chance to screw you over and not in the fun way........

She is just ripping you off. First time I came accross that. Not worth your effort, I am sure you will find someone more legit to release the pressure with.

You should have sent her a pm and might have got a different reaction to pricing.

I charge extra if someone books outside of my stipulated working hours. So if a client wants to come at 9.30, its extra. After my official working hours I will only see regulars and they are ok with it. Under no circumstances will I take a new client at night.

Thanks buddy. I hear you.

Just don't understand why a lady would do this as I thought one would try to secure a new client that might bring in money every month if he's happy with your service, instead of hustling a quick R200 out of him for a first time visit.

If she initially stated that after 16:00 , I charge extra, it would have been understandable.

But she figures you're hard up for her (pun intended) so she'll change her prices how she sees fit.

JPS's comment is also true!
