We are living in depressing times - bad economy, government serving political causes and not the people, communities burning and breaking with no consequence, news media and social media spreading disinformation making it difficult to distinguish between real and fake news - a good punt helps you to forget this for a while. Sexual release is very helpful in lifting the mood. Getting older does not help when you see your life rushing past - a good punt helps to reduce the everyday stress but a bad punt can have a very detrimental effect on your outlook as well. Seeing the beauty of the service providers on this site gives me a reason to be positive - thanks for that, all lovely service providers.

Medical science has made great advances in the physical aspects of medicine in the last few years.

The causes of depression are not known other than post partum.

Sufferers are told to take this and that and it will make you feel better. Symptoms treated. Not the cause.

Even today electrical stimulation is used where the brain is shocked to try and see if it will help.

Mental illness still has a stigma attached and talking about it opens the door to ridicule.

Not expressing an opinion on any cure as I am not a medical professional. My knowledge comes from my partner who became a shadow of herself due the "treatment" offered by the experts. The hospitalisation. The drugs. The electro therapy.

Been depressed is the worst thing anyone can go through i speak from experience you don't want to do fakol, nothing excites you, you basically like in a movie watching everything pass by, it normally and most hard when you loose someone close to you maybe death or whatever reason. I had meds for the normal cause of 6 months felt a lot better. I think the important thing is easing of the medication and not depending on it. Although I never tried punting while depressed LOL, maybe it would of sorted it out immediately. Just my 2 cents

It's a literal inability to feel pleasure. That's why I haven't booked someone yet. I feel so dead and cannot just snap out of it. I wish I could though. Your life passed you by whilst you just scroll this site and have a constant lack of energy and drive.

I too am hoping that a good session will help sort me out but I feel I need my drive back first

I want to be able to enjoy life again for it is short but don't know how to

Medication doctors use are hardcore and has negative side effects, maybe try researching Homeopathy, at least it's herbal and I've heard that if you get the right Homeopath to treat depression it could work out well

Endorphins released during sex is apparently a good deterrent for depression, however, it doesn't rid you of depression after the fact

Depression is a disease. This condition should be diagnosed and proper meds required from a doctor. It gets progressively worse if not treated.
