Lovely advice from everyone indeed.

Well I dont think I've ever been depressed or even sad for that matter or maybe i just rose above it extremely swiftly...

...All I'm saying is that I use punting to my advantage and I make the most of every second of it to the extent that I reminisce about certain ladies I've visited for years and I even tell stories about those ladies on this very forum. The women here are amazing but you as a punter need to be discerning. Punting is a skill you develop while for others it may be a talent.

I exercise, I keep learning, I help others, I basically do all that I can to be a better me.

In life nothing makes me more happier than beautiful women...nothing.

YES I LOVE ASS...I LOVE IT AND IT MAKES ME HAPPY SO I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU.

BUBBLE BUTTTS!!!

...OPTIMIST...

@Juicy Pussy Slayer.

Punting is cool as long you do it because you like it.

It, and a lot of other things, become toxic if you use them as a crutch.

There is no bandaid for depression unfortunately. You gotta walk the long path to figure your own shit out before you start to see the light again.

@ DevonM and desertfoxx you guys are right on the money.

Depression was exactly the reason I started punting. It helps for that hour or two or that one allnighter now and again but punting ain't the solution for dealing with depression

This is from KL to the OP.

Right now I'm going to cut the skin like a surgeon and operate to get to at least one cause.

Love yourself for once. Give yourself a chance to love you. Give yourself space to practice the I love me everyday. Find that gap to love you everyday. Operate and use that scalpel to self love, syringe the dose of I love me, clean the seeping of I love you then stitch the cut and let the I love me heal.

Everything else outside will take care of itself.

My R0 bucks medical advise.

I absolutely agree with you RShaft, depression can't be fixed by punting, no matter how much you will it to happen.
Punting is a wonderful activity if you are in the right mindset to enjoy it.

Several weeks ago there was an out-pouring of support for depression after the suicide of a lady on this site. I believe we should offer the same support of our fellow punters.
There are many of us who have gone/or going through this. We need to support each other.

No one likes to go through that knife but when it's vital to save your life, you have to go through that operation.

On a lighter side of the punting perception or other perception (just want to make you feel better) listen to Marvin Gaye: Sexual Healing. And feel something.

Music is also refreshing. Find that sound. That sound that speaks to you. Cry if you have to. Laugh if you have to. Shout out if you have to don't shout at someone, shout to yourself and release. Dance if you have to. The sound is there, we are there for you. Music is there for you too. And I will be right there singing along with you.

Depression cannot master you. Only if you allow it to, it will but there is always a way out if you find that healing sound.

Try music and sing even if you can't sing, try it, the sound is there.

Such valuable advice thank you everybody! I will try some of what was suggested and what do I have to lose!

That's why I don't punt. I'm hoping for affection and feeling wanted, liked but it's all an illusion so yes, it's better to punt only when in the right frame of mind and in a healthy place so that its an enjoyable experience for both as the girl would also pick up on my energy

Again thank you. Good advice all round

There are so many angles...

...So lets list as many as we can.

* Turn to God/religion.

* Seek professional help.

* Stop procrastinating and begin to tackle whatever is upsetting you. Once you resolve the first issue that bothers you, you will then begin to feel better and you will be more determined to resolve the next issue.

* Change your mindset to something more modern such as optimism.

* Be grateful and show gratitude.

* Take note of those who are less fortunate than you.

* Hug those you meet since human interaction has profound and healing effects.

* Be the best version of yourself.

* Know that your not the only one feeling down and out.

* Get your senses involved in all that is good such as listen to motivation music, watching motivational videos, surround your self amongst beautiful scenery and positive and uplifting people, eat good food, smell the flowers and most importantly smell the coffee.

* Set realistic goals and achieve them.

* Get stuff to look forward to.

* Workout, exercise is good for your mental health as well.

* Smile at the world and the world will smile back at you.

Life is ever changing and this moment will pass. The future is yours to create.

* Let go of all grudges.

* Forgive yourself.

* Get a deep tissue massage.

* Give to others open heartedly.

* Buy a new car or house.

* Eat some chocolate.

* Have a deep and meaningful conversation.

* Interact with children in conversation and games.

* Make your wife pregnant.

* Break a baby's wind.

* Take up a hobby.

* Go on holiday.

* Watch a good movie.

* Develop a sense of humour.

* Pop a prescribed antidepressant and fuck whoever you going to book in ways you never imagined.

* Be nice to others.

* Seek forgiveness from whomever you displeased.

* Watch a good comedy and laugh out loud. I mean like really laugh out loud.

* Try hypnosis and positive affirmations.

* Spend some time in the sunlight (vitamin D).

* Stop doing whatever is causing this condition.

* Change whatever you need to change and accept whatever you cannot change.

My experience.

I used to go on rollercoaster rides, when I'm happy the rollercoaster used to go up and when I was sad it used to go down. This is considered normal since we all have our ups and downs.

Until one day a very long time ago I heard the saying: "Happiness is a choice." I then thought to myself: "Ok, I choose to be happy!!!" Ever since that day I stuck to my decision (optimistic mindset)...

...I also realised that doing and experiencing certain things in life made me happy without even realising that I am happy. I mean I'd be all jolly and smiling with everyone and making jokes and then I stopped to ask myself: "Why am I so happy?" From that moment I began to identify all the things in my life that made me happy and I began doing and partook in those things more often and it just made me a more happier person (look at the list that I posted earlier in this thread for examples).

You will find that at times or maybe even most of the time life throws a curved ball at you and at first I used to dodge it and other times it used to knock me down but than I took a stance and now I catch all those curve balls (again look at the list that I posted previously on this thread of examples).

I no longer allow the universe to control me, I control it.

was also lucky enough to have childhood nightmares from time to time that later in life enabled me to cope with lifes devastations.

I also wondered, why do we dream? There must be a reason I thought. Be it as it may, indeed dreams serve an important purpose. So dream big.

Hakuna Matata...

...Hakuna Matata...

...Hakuna Matata...

...It means no worries for the rest of your days...

...It's a problem free philosophy...

...Hakuna Matata!!!

Hahaha...!

It aint how hard you hit...

...Its how hard you can GET HIT and KEEP MOVING forward.

- ROCKY BALBOA -

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds 'till we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the dream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger
Risin' up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the dream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger

Sincere Regards
