The problem, which you highlight, is how many times does the word survive, survivor appear in your post? One does not live to survive, one lives to enjoy life, as it is such a short time we have

] All this about SA being I such a bad country and all ..
Yes it's bad, very bad.
However,
The freedom we have, the best coastal lines lots more.
Not forgetting the best food.
Us South Africans are SURVIVORS.
I AM A PROUD SURVIVOR. PROUD SOUTH AFRICAN!!!
I LOVE MY COUNTRY NO MATTER what it's going through.
Yes we The People are feeling it, but we are forever hopeful.
There's beauty in this country.
We can ask our neighbour for coffee.
Greet each other. Sing together even if it's just rubgy match, braai together.
Everywhere.Everyday.
With all the sadness, robberies, murders, bad economy, rape, child abuse, job losses, etc
South Africa is a country of survivors.
Growing up in the 80s to now...
Was always joking loaf of bread will be R100 one day.
Will happen.
However, to think for a moment one couldn't enter certain areas or attend certain schools coz of your skin colour.
Now we can.
Where families where seperated only coz the texture of your hair...but I'm still hopeful..we will get better.
We must always hope for the best.
BEST OUMA RUSK, BEST WORS. BEST WINES.
Salute South Africa!!!
PS: if you don't like my post, good.
Ask yourself why?...if you hate the country so much leave.
This country belongs to The People!!!
We the people at the bottom of the totem pole is still hopeful and still fighting for it's glory.

The thing is it's easy to say SA is a shitty country for most who have never left the country. What they fail to realize is that everywhere in the world there is crime, corruption in government, rape murders etc. Each country has its ups and downs we only see and here of the stuff the media would like us to see.

Agree with Arhwen 100%
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence because the shit is deeper.
Yup we have our problems, but then so does every other country, whether it is crime, constraints on your freedom, the cost of living, the quality of life or any of a 100 different comparisons one wishes to make.
Personally, I'll take South Africa's kak over the kak of all the countries I have lived in, worked in or visited.
