I was there today to sort out next weeks visit so I thought, let me use that pop the balloon prize that I got at the social. Only found out today that it had expired though I could have used it on any of the 2 other times I was there prior.Poor administration from the front desks part as I was never informed b4 yet I did mention the prize previously. Epic fail uncle Steve, its not bout what the prize contained but poor correspondence.My favourite joint starts slacking... Hmmm

Aah damn Davi as a regular you are it was mis luck on your end to cash in your prize . Guess admin at HOE should have pop up on the system to call or email their members as an early reminder of their expiration dates, so as not to dissapoint the members.

I had similar experience when my VIP expired and only found out after I called. What a bummer that it is.

Uncle Steve how bout some focus on a bit admin to check these and alert patrons in advance.

I was told on the night of the social that whoever won would be sms'd...never did so didn't actually know it had an expiry date...sounds like buying a lotto ticket to a draw that u have no clue to wen it is...brilliant idea to actually inform clients moving forward In69...

I was reading this and thinking...I wonder if all the guys that won prizes would be happy if HOE contacted them frequently to say their prizes will be expiring.

Some guys will feel they being hassled to do return bookings at HOE. And what if the wife gets this little piece if information? I think it's unfair to expect that from HOE gents. Not all punters wants to be contacted by a venue...it's too risky. I've won 3 prizes previously at the social and the bday party and all 3 times were not told I would be sms'ed. I was also informed they would expire (and they have, due to my own fault as I forgot about them)

Maybe HOE could tell the punter when he visits yes, that I agree on. But then he has to enquire himself first. There are many Piet, Johan, Mohammed etc visiting on a daily basis and a lot of guys use false names or just first names for privacy reasons. How do you identify each unique person?

Maybe uncle Steve should issue id cards to us. To identify us uniquely...LOL!

Just hide it very well for the wife!
(Can even load rewards like the banks and shops do)

We asked to be contacted...just like u do wen fnb signs u up for a new account, u tick yes...Speaking for us Indian guys, most wont mind that once off reminder message, we not under petticoat government.

The FREE Balloons Popped at Social --Have always had a 30 Day Expiration Date

The R 50 Cost -- Balloons Popped at B-Day Party --have a 3 Month Expire Date as they were paid for

AS far as VIP CARDS --OK if they Expire & you are Not Aware --SIMPLE SOLUTION -- sign & pay for another when You arrive as it is Valid IMMEDIATELY --so it should not be an Issue .

Sorry --We are almost Perfect --But Not completely still working on that -- But we actually do think things through after 8 1/2 Years
