Babe at the cost of between R8k and 10k a night for the cheapest room at the Saxon I must say with check in at ~2PM and checkout at ~11am, would it be a viable option realistically??? And terms of security yes you will be quite secure... actually super secure, its a boutique hotel, so you might not be able to entertain guests at such a place, and by guests I mean me haha. Unless you are thinking of a different Saxon. I would be incorrect in all those assumptions.

I hear security is very tight. Im hearing all sorts of scary stories that's happening to the girls over there. So safety and security is my main concern.

No client will make it past the gate. Let me tell you how it works there. You can only enter if you stay there or have a reservation at one of the restaurants or you are going to the Spa. Your name must be on the list with the guy at the gate. Its not a walk in off the street or sign in at security and go park type of hotel. Once you have been confirmed as a guest, only then the big gates open. You enter the gate and you park your car just inside the gate, far from the hotel. You then get picked up in a luxury car by hotel staff and they escort you up to the hotel. Clients are going to have to be very savvy to get in. Yes girls do get in to punters that stay there, but theyll be accompanied by the punter or the punter puts them on his guest list. You can't just rock up at the gate. If you work there as a girl its going to be hard for the guys to explain where they are going to. From a cost perspective it also makes no sense. To put it into perspective not even a luxury ocean view room at the 12 Apostles in Cape Town is half the price of s room there. You don't have to stay in the most expensive hotel in Jhb, possibly South Africa, to be safe. The brunch alone is over R800 per person. Dinner for one can set you back R2k with drinks. If you have the money go for it, but its not going to be a profitable work trip, that's for sure. You'll have to travel out to clients unfortunately and you won't get anywhere close to covering your costs.

There are plenty of safe non-dingy places to work from in Johannesburg. But if you do book at the Saxon, please keep us posted I'll pay just to come lie in the bath and order room service. You don't even have to massage me.

You forgot to mention... she thinks jhb is unsafe. Coming from Cape Town... the murder capital of the world... this would be an upgrade in terms of safety. Rosebank and Sandton are quite safe and upmarket areas.
