Just saying,
Some of the
"You're (insert compliment) for a (insert defining characteristic that they are not)"
Compliments are of the most sincere you could come across because it means that person has overcome some bias/prejudice (possibly for good) for them to say those words.
Not saying it isn't insensitive, but it's always helpful to understand context in a society as complex as ours.

It simply means that he is still trapped in his selfish perceptions' of his superiority!
Irrespective of race, he would probably say something similar to "fat" people, if he prefers slender, or vice versa, or short people, if he prefers taller...see where I am going here?
Sadly, there are still people like that out there!

It means exactly what it says.
Black girls aren't supposed to be beautiful, but you are.
The definition of beauty and desirability has been measured by its proximity to whiteness. The closer the better.
What is beautiful about our enlightenment as a society is that we realising what a great lie this has been, for centuries.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the beholder alone. Not what's told to you on tv or in social circles.
