Rereading Dostoevsky to learn better how to love life in spite of everything.
The terrific thing about classics is that most are out of copyright and available for free download.

Paradise Lost is heavy. I remember friends studying lit at university struggling with it.
There again the Russians can be heavy going too. I recall Clive James learnt the language to read War & Peace. Often something is lost outside the original language.
Thumbs up! heavy reads BUT worth every page!
Got to pulling out "Paradise Lost - John Milton" and rereading it. Was a set book for English I first year moons and mooooons ago...then a punter sent me a DM and reminded me of this writer and all his work. Appreciating and understanding it better than i did so long ago.
