And for the record (since semantics are important), I never attacked JE. I insulted him. There really is a difference. Also liberal media is the absolute worst place to look for facts as they are the most ideologically possessed of all the media. I try as much as possible to not quote (when I do quote as opposed to just expressing an opinion and shooting off the hip) *ANY* media but instead use professional sources. I don't always get it right but I do try. And when someone (like now) criticises what or how I communicate I try to actually address the criticism rather than just deflecting with useless shit like "Squeeky bum time for you and your gabbas" - whatever the hell a gabbas is. I guarantee I don't always get it right and I am not above name calling but most of the time I really do try.

As for the specific point you raised - I am sure you are right but then last year was different. We didn't have delta and omicron. Last year people were absolute sheep and all stayed in doors and obeyed lockdowns. This year many more people have realised how futile that is. So it is not really an apples to apples comparison as I see it. Happy to be proven wrong though!
