I mentioned this earlier. Nervousness and tongue-tied sounds totally different to no manners. I can definitely hear the different as I am sure Ms Le Roux can too. If a lady is rude because you were tongue-tied, then she is rude in general and it's probably not because you were a mumbling mess on the phone,she is just, plain rude all the time.

Believe me any experienced WG can pick up the difference between someone being nervous and mumbling and someone wasting time or being a jerk. There is a huge difference ..... It doesn't sound the same. And if she is rude when you are just a bit on edge, then you've just saved yourself some money.

Thats true, doesn't make it easier for us, especially those of us that are not necessarily the most confident in our own looks

Exactly. Some guys wonder why I have blocked them ..... And this is the reason.I always say there are some things that years in this industry has taught me, the results are always the same ..... This is one of those things. I am not saying every guy with basic manners is not going to be a problem. I am saying a guy with no manners when making the call will almost always be unpleasant during the booking as well.

This is very true... happened to me twice so far... got a shitty feeling after the call both times.. I always give benefit of doubt... and both times I was called names.. treated a lil more roughly than I would have liked... just like an object... felt really deflated afterwards...

Now though... if that feeling pops up even just a lil bit... I decline.. Atleast Im a quick learner.... most days ;)))

Anywhoo....moral of the story... we have a gut instinct for a reason...

This industry is all about respect...sensuality... fun... If manners are not up to scratch on the phone... why even see the person? This goes for punters and us girls..

It works both ways...
I've gotten rude notes back from SPs... sometimes these responses are enough to not bothered calling them back.

Worse still are ladies who don't respond even after a blue tick.

And then those one who don't even bother reading the message...

Then there are the responses a month or so later asking for help or a small loan or pre paid service

The other thing is alot of times punters aren't confident in writing in English and therefore come across as rude.

We aren't dumb and I don't mean that in a nastilyy
. We can pick that up. If someone is not English literate, it doesn't come across as rude, at least not in my experience. I have also had guys state that their English is not so good.

Here is the funny thing people who ain't first language English, often use apps to help them translate there text before sending it.. the translations sometimes are worse than their own broken English would have been .;)

That said.. they always use respectful adress forms like, mam or lady or miss or mistress,and always add please and thank you to their text.

I think rude or crass just comes natural to some and they don't know how not to be different;)

In this industry whether you a SP or a Punter, I we all need that extra bit of skin to deal with certain people on some days.

I sometimes feel like I need to beg the girl for answers, I get one word replies !

Oh no that is bad, so sorry. Not sure how some SP's think a one word reply will give you clarity on what is on offer and what not

I absolutely love this thread.

Manners and etiquette are essential for a great booking.

My personal favorite was someone who's call I missed, he left me a voicemail telling me to send him my address. I was gobsmacked as I had never communicated with him before. Needless to say, I ignored him.
