True he used the term 'white privilege' and in many cases what we say isn't really what we mean.
Saying it straight, and I agree with FJP, only an affluent/rich person would say R1000 is low/budget punt. Given our racial context 'white privilege' (deep down) is associated with a mentality rather than the colour of someone's skin.
