Economics 101...If a WG hourly rate was 6 months ago R1000, take in consideration that inflation is at 4.9%, she must charge now R1049 per hour, otherwise she is loosing money.Some retailers lift there prices by 10%, so basic 2 bags of groceries last year in June cost R1000, is costing you now R1100.Most companies I hope gave 6 to 10% pay increases to their employees, so to cover inflation and have money to save.So gents, you get a salary increase every year to cover inflation, don't you think the ladies deserve one as well to cover inflation and price increases?
