Most circumsisions are cultural based. Some done a few days after birth, others at Initiation.
Very few guys have it done for hygene and or looks when in their adulthood.

circumcised in my mid-30s. did for hygiene purposes. my experience - feels and looks much better. sex much better than before. easier to clean than before. everything really better than before.
Only downside are the offers for OWO, or the ladies just want to dive in without checking/asking. i don't do OWO.
Again, my personal experience.
