They do receive them once we upload, then they check if the pic is ok,is it out of focus, poor quality ie, maybe there are inexplainable marks,etc

Yes, we do see each and every personal gallery uploaded as we need to approve or decline the pictures.

There is literary nothing we have not seen yet. We don't really have a reaction to the pictures, I think I speak for everyone here at the office that when we started in the office it was (wow) but 5 years in, its really no big deal now.

Dont think ESA rejects photos of poor quality or out of foucus, because then there will be a lot of photos take off. Believe me there is a lot.
Think most important is that the photo must be you and you must have an active account.
