The support of the SP's and even punters and coming from a presumed reliable SP shows that taking money and not delivering service is condoned and acceptable as long as you can make up enough of a reason and garner some support. Not even the first time this has happened , remember the JP82 story as well as many others. Also, it seems to be with wgs that have been seen by customers before and so called reliable wgs.

That alone should be more of a deterrent to punters from such a practice of advance paying and unfortunately, this being done by some wgs will ruin it for all since punters get to see more and more that even the ones that seem reliable or reputable will take your money and run given half the chance and be supported in it so it just reinforces the lesson, don't pay in advance.

So long story short, the guy actually DID PAY you in full and in advance. You left the booking without delivering service and it was ENTIRELY YOUR DECISION to cancel.

Long story is then you contacted the cop Kickass, and you'll decided to charge this guy a cancellation fee for services not delivered on your own account and no fault of the punter. In the meantime, the punter did exactly what he should have which is asked the bank to refund the money he was defrauded for which is exactly what happened i.e. money taken under false pretenses (of providing 2 hours service) is fraud. Then punter/cop friend intimidates punter and you basically commissioned further extortion of more than even the initial booking.

And a good punter that trusted you with advance payment and did nothing wrong for you to cancel in him then lost his booking, lost his money, lost his faith and trust in wgs and got to be made out to be the bad guy again and you're very happy about the fact that you did not provide a service agreed but took the payment that was agreed and more.

I think you got this karma thing mixed up neh.

It does leave the door open for liers, scammers and con artists putting punters and SP's in a precarious position each distrusting of each other .

As stated to Mattiboo earlier....each case to be based on the merits rather than clumping supposed "same scenarios " into one .
