Fk gents!!! Maybe if we behaved better ladies would be less tempted to double book.
NOT FOR A MOMENT am I saying double bookings are ever ok. All I'm saying is no-shows fks it up for all

100% correct. Though it's still no excuse to double book. I am normally honest with the second guy looking for a booking in the same silt as a booked guy and 9 out of 10 Time's the guy will say let me know if your client does not pitch. In most cases the client ends up pitching up and gent number 2 will try again later, on the rare occasion it's a timewaister then guy number 2 takes the timewaisters place. Sometimes guy number 2 can't wait and books elsewhere but at least I didn't double book and waist anyone's time.

Both ladies and gents don't appreciate having their time waisted so both ladies and punters should be respectful of each other's time nobody's time is more valuable than the next persons time. It has to be a 2 way street.

And not at the time the booking should be taking place of you know your running late and won't make the booking in time then let them know before the appointment time not while the lady is all dressed up and nobody to blow... That's just rude.

It is not only rude. It is disrespectful of a ladies time and right to earn a keep.

It is Also disrespectful toward one's fellow punters .

There are MANY VERY professional ladies that conduct themselves in a way that shows care, consideration, pride and look fwd to receiving that Gent in the best way possible.

The effort made , I am sure, very few men might know about or think about.

And thus too....those ladies that disrespect the punter, his time, money and effort made to come through ....are no better than the no shows for the ladies.

It does leave a bad taste in the mouth and the circle smaller of trusted SP's ....which in some way is ok but, worse is the ripple effect where the punters no longer wish to punt lest they get "taken for a ride".

RB.

I hate being a standby, otherwise I would have taken the username Pollyfiller. Turkish airlines always double book passengers then bump them on the last minute. I hope SP's don't start adopting their marketing strategy.

I wonder if punters should start charging a cancellation fee too for unreliable SP's?

The time TA had an over booked flight, they offered a free dinner and night in a fancy hotel at their cost if you were willing to fly the next day.
I had to leave for work purposes, but those who did stay over, did so with a smile.

What I'm saying is if you wasted an hour of his time to drive for nothing, give him that extra time from your diary (yes, travel duration as booking extension)
In such a case you show you are sorry. You also feel the consequences and next time chances are all parties will respect each other's time.

He comes late - he has to pay for that time or leave at the original departure time

Lady comes late, not only should he get the time he paid for, he should also get the time you wasted from his life. Why is sp time worth money, but if you ask the punter to drive around the block, how is his time not of value?

If you know there are 2 ladies working from one place, why book both on the hour or half hour? Give Lady X the more traditional time slots and let lady y work on the 15 or 45 time slots. I can't see any punter complain if he knows it's to ensure he does not have to meet others on the way in?

I also need to add that where time has become less of an issue between "friends", the whole scenario is different. What I'm talking about above is for "strangers"

That is not a bad idea at all, I like it. That way it teaches both parties to be timeous. However some both parties also do have a tendency to have goldfish memory. I can give you a list of SP's that asked for money in Lieu of a discount at the next booking or somewhat other... Send the eWallet and you never hear from them again until the babies milk is finished, or the car crashed, landlord kicked them out... I think we should run a fun thread on here where everyone gives their best excuses they heard

Despite extensive communication via WA and a firm booking by the WG in Randburg, I get to the address and make the call and ...surprise ... no answer. Phone is off. I keep dialing and send WA messagss but no respobse. WGs add is now also off so I cant name. This really pisses me off.
Where on eartham I going to find another WG at short notice to calm a bear with a sore tooth and a stiff willy? Wasteful trip from PTA to JHB @##$%$#!!

From anywhere? There are lots of options, stop throwing useless tantrums and go to someone else. Maybe the woman's phone died or she became violently ill as she felt your kak vibes approaching here. You know what? Unless you paid her before, stop complaining and go give your money to someone else! There's an 'available now' section on her in case you missed that.
