The maturity level of teenagers is astounding. They have a depth of understanding I never dreamt of at that age.

While the question may have been valid one, the point of the thread has reached.

Some SP are sensitive and take it as overstepping the professional line while others have no issues.

It's quite obvious that most SP have had children and maybe out of courtesy do not ask about that topic, unless you want to answer questions about your family life.

I have two daughters, one 22 and one 14, and eventhough I know that they will never judge me for what I do, I will never tell them. The reason for this is that I wouldn't want to put them in an awkward position when they are asked what I do for a living, and they have to lie about it. Xx

There are other ladies that have told their kids on their own Accord as well "so they don't find out from others". It also turned out just as well so I guess children are resilient and understanding like that.

Well, when his old enough, I will discuss it. However, it will be a very small part of a much bigger discussion which is far too long to get into here and only worth the time and effort spending on my son.

I think as much as kids might know it's still important to protect them from it, like the ladies who have shared here do, by sheltering them from the details. I have an example where I felt a lady was not doing enough to shelter her kids from the realities. Her kids at that time were probably 13/14 and 9, girl and boy. And they were not staying with her but they would on occasion visit her over the school holidays. But she would not stop work even for a day. She worked from a hotel and the kids would be told to go sit somewhere else in the hotel if clients came. She did not tell them what she was doing but kids are not stupid and I'm sure they figured that something was going on especially her older daughter because they would no doubt hear the call as they would all be cooped up in one room and then shortly thereafter be told to disappear, and this happened multiple times a day until late in the evening. I visited her once as a friend and met the kids, very intelligent well mannered kids. We sat on the floor at the foot of the bed watching tv and the kids were on the bed, the lights were off. She wanted to have sex in the room with her kids right there. I just couldn't and I stopped her. She would also often date clients and introduce them to her kids as the latest boyfriend, God knows how many random men she introduced them to. I really felt sad that she did not do a better job at protecting them.

All this thread shows and confirms for me is that we are all human beings, living our lives as we best can in whatever capacity we have.

Some are shitty people, some are great people. Everyone has their own struggles and realities to deal with.

People will respond based on who they are and the realities that shaped them.
