I had a situation a little while ago, where I went to a wonderful massage venue. Had already been there a couple of times. Opted for the 1 extra .. covered at R500 .. of course the little head rules. I didn't mind the additional cost.

So, imagine my surprise on my last visit, where I booked 90 minutes massage. Got a 50 minutes one .. Opted for my normal extra, no cost was given or discussed. Went to pay the desk afterwards, the MG was not there, but told the receptionist to add the extra, to be told by the OWNER, the extra is R1000 and not R500.

I was shocked at this. So, what they achieved was to change a regular client, to a NO CLIENT NO MORE!

All round, I thought the service was shoddy and not to the houses normal standards. I didnt want to book that MG in the first place, but the owner said all the others were not working at that moment. She did not suggest the other one available, but "pushed" this one forward. I am easy going, so I went with the flow ... afraid, this time the service was well below par!

Once bitten ... no second chance to be bitten again!

hmm.. well, I really can't or wouldn't hope to speak for other providers, as we all conduct ourselves / our business differently, so I will speak from my own perspective here:

To me, it isn't JUST the money that decides whether someone will get to see me or not. Sure, it's something I require, but that's because NOTHING is free. I've said on the forum before, that we as ladies may offer something for "free", but considering that we'd still have to pay for the rent, products, utilities, advertising, maintenance, laundry (the list goes on...) that went into that "free" session, the expenses need to be paid somehow, so that would then mean taking a LOSS, financially.

As for what I was saying before, it's legitimately more than just the money that decides whether I'll see a client or not - and that's what I mean by *willingness* and *enthusiasm*. Note that I did not say ATTRACTION.

ASIDE from payment for time I could've spent otherwise, I also (like most do), have other criteria that determines my *willingness/enthusiasm* to proceed with booking.

Opening the door and finding out that the person on the other side is a minor, is belligerently drunk, is high as a kite, or is my cousin's husband, for example, immediately retracts that willingness irrespective of whether they have the money or not.

BOUNDARIES are just as important to us as they may be to punters. and trying to overstep them is one way to remove all of my willingness to accommodate.
