Could not agree more. Prices are just crazy!

Laws of economics mate...someone paid and others have paid as well so why drop the price?

That R2500 qoute for massage is the low end of import rates. High end of import rates are around R4000.Seems import taxes are high ;) mostly those qouted rates will be from "import ladies".

I understand now and then there will be a truly local lady that feels she can charge the same.

I am sure local ladies dont appreaciate the fact that everytime a guy ends up getting an outrageously expensive qoute they generalize and say it is CPT rates and CPT lost its mind;)

The specific girl I'm speaking of worked at a venue that charged 790 per hour sensual massage and the venue offered extras. Now she is at another venue that charges 2500 no extras.

You do say "Cape Town lost its damn mind" which implies that most people here in general have lost their mind (probably still true lol) but I still agree with you that prices here can be crazy high especially if you want one of the internationals or a younger, sexy SP.

I've been quoted between 2500-3000 even 4000 per hour by some local SPs. Miss Red is right though generally for a standard service it is about 500-1500 per hour.

I know that the listing of fees on ESA has been discussed many times before.
I am of opinion that it will do no harm to introduce basic categories for hourly rates(i.e. R500 - R1000; R1000 - 1500 and more than R1500) as this will assist punters to limit search options which will save punters time (and money in making calls) while reducing number of calls to be answered by service providers. This can be optional, that is, a service provider can opt to make use of the function or then not.

That,s a good idea. I see on another site some ladies list their rates. Helps out cos I just didn't bother to call a lady who charges R4.5k an hour non neg.
