Just a warning that the scammers are calling again pretending to be police .. a good hard "go fuck yourself" usually does the trick, maybe just be careful answering new numbers while the family is in the car for a bit

People are definitely still falling for this otherwise they would not bother.

It's a sad state of affairs unfortunately

Good day everyone. I just received a call from a Lt. Colonel Wessel Routenbagh SAPS according to my true caller ID. Saying that a working girl that I had visited had used counterfeit money that I had apparently given her for my visit. He said that they had pulled my cell records and that both her cell and my cell were on the same location at the time of the allegation against me. He said that she had laid a rape charge against me and that we could resolve this as gentleman. He said that a warrant was going to be issued for my arrest or we could resolve this as gentleman. When I asked him what date that the incident accord he told me the 25th, 26th, 27th of last month. As I know I had not visited any lady on any of those days I immediately picked up that this is the scam. I asked him if he wanted money, he said that he was trying to help me and that we could resolve this as gentleman. When I asked him for the name of the lady he said that according to the laws of gender based violence he could not disclose her name. He then told me that a warrant for my arrest is going to be issued at the high court at 12h30 and that the police are going to come to were I am at the moment to arrest me. I then told him I look forward to seeing him in court and hung up.

Guys please be careful. I personally do not know which lady gave my number to these scam artists but I have been asking a few working girls for their rates and services so it was probably one of them who gave my number to these thieves.

What? Umm... why do you carry your punter phone with you while driving with the family?

Or do you use your own, personal everyday phone to make bookings and enquiries? GET A PUNTING SIM!!! Friendly advice.

How much these guys are asking for?...i am just curious.

And just a piece of advise: even if you have a punting phone buy a whistle. The next time they call you, whistle straight to your cell mike...and if you whistle hard enough there are good chance that Mr lt colonel wessel rautenbagh's ear drum will be burst.

Have a fun with your whistle and mr. lt. colonel.
