Well I feel a small bit of sympathy for the victims but overall, feel nothing.
Two reasons for this,
1. The french were a major supporter of the ANC when the ANC were bombing our shopping centre's and towns and the French said or did nothing.

2. We have our own crisis in this country were an overwhelming number of farmers are being murdered EVERY day and where is the outcry for our own farmers and the others that are being murdered. We see very little of our own country in crisis, but all jump up and down when it happens in another country.

We need to look at our own country and as Nelson Mandela's book title said, "Cry my beloved country", we need to pay attention to our own crisis and woes

Dear Smokie

Was every young person involved and to blame for the apartheid bombings? There was a 22 year old girl in that shoot out at the rock concert that survived. How many other young people died or were injured? I also get that we have our own problems and that our own people are dying all around South Africa. That does not mean we cannot have compassion for others. Hearts were created to grow.

Politics is a dirty game. Innocent lives are lost everyday. Who is to blame? who knows? The West screws up the Middle East, Africa(hardly noticed) and so on and then you get a uprising (BIG News) and it will go on and on.

I do sympathise with those affected. The only thing thats gets to me personally is that I find myself feeling less and less....Is it my imagination or is their only an outcry if an attack is trending? Attacks like this is an ever day occurrence and we don't seem to express any disgust, in fact we zone out when there's news of similar attacks all the time in the Middle East for example.

A lot of Kak happened in the world this weekend, it disturbs me that Paris seems to hog the headlines and none of the other incidents received little or no coverage. Too many people died and too few received the worlds attention as they should have. Still in shock that the worlds monuments lit up in French colors while Lebanon, Kenya and Iraq all who also suffered at the hands of these pigs were ignored. A very clear message in terms of where the bread is buttered was sent this weekend and it's enough to shake your core...

Smokie I hear u out and agree about our own farmers being killed daily question is what are u doing about it?,I'm serious about this its easy to criticise but have u joined saps volunteer programs such as a reservist. Its sad when innocent people get killed just to threaten goverments and prove a point to others and the poor people that passed aways families and loved ones should be kept in our prayers. Ten four that's life bro nadia, savannah don't feel too hurt remember these words of advise be in charge of your life and contribute what u can to society its amazing how many people one person can influence life in a positive way.
