Mmmm what? The elections are over.

At the moment are doing their job, better than De Ruyter. The problems may come in future yes, but the big questions are on De Ruyter and his competence right now.

We need answers, hopefully we have them soon.

Another factor is literally a few hundred people adding a mix of solar and inverters or generators both for personal and their companies. Plus if one looks at the stats of large industry users theirs actually a huge decline in useage with the amount of companies either merging,closing or shutting operations in SA.

Th theory that Eskom burning diesel came from de Ruyter, a lawyer by qualification,is not true. Compared to same period last year Eskom's diesel spend is 6 billion less.

With de Ruyter's lack of engineering knowledge, he was way out of his depth. I suspect the corrupt engineers just run rings around him all the time. There is now a Minister, Board Chair and CEO who are all engineers by qualification and they have cut through the incompetence and corruption much quicker. The outcome is an Eskom that is doing a lot better.

When you put engineers in charge things get fixed and work. When you put accountants in charge it all gets messed up. See what happened to Boeing

Lets just be thankful for no load shedding.
De Ryter was a disaster having no engineering skills however still profited like the many who still are, load shedding or not.
