As a ladie in the business herself I'm horrified that taking 50% is even a thought because she knows everything she has to endure in the room from time to time lets face it not all client are pleasant, easy or clean. Then there are ladies that have been ripped off by clients money phone etc. This is ecluding underwear lol.

We also go one to more serious things like ladies that have been raped and murdered.

Then I would strongly advise the lady to book in somewhere and work for herself if she is not comfortable working alone. I see Sean X Divine is starting up a place in the north you can give him a call he won't take half your Money. Will find a thread shortly about what agencies charge Sean was kind enough to post on this thread. Not even The Harem takes half the ladies money and they have a stunning well furnished mansion which costs more to run.

Monroe here's a fact you might find a naive or lady desperately in need of a place to work but this will be short lived charge a reasonable rate and you will have a decent reliable lady to work on a long term yes you may have to go through a few to get to the right one which I may suggest to be a middle age to more mature lady.
As the younger ones are not always but mostly still in party mode, have no responsibility still have alot to learn and in most cases are very insecure also they still need to build a client basis.

Just a bit of advice from a more mature lady that's been in the industry long enough to know what works and what doesn't.

I hope this helps also maybe look at providing bottled still and sparkling water cans of coke, tab or coke zero boxes of fruit juice. Men's deodorant and roll ons shower gell, hair gell mouth wash shampoo and mints in addition to paying for the adds then I would say you are justifies in taking 50% or else not.

Only the ladies can authoratively comment on whether what Monroe is offering is reasonable or exploitation. Punters' comments on what they think goes into doing this business and from a quick calculation on the back of a cigarette box means nothing, zip. Unless you have been in the business yourself and given guys with hairy backs massages and tugged their willies, your opinion is just that and not based on any facts or experience.

Better than the R30 per day that Marie Claire pays for their interns who have a honours or even a masters degree.

I do not think Monroe is out to exploit the young ladies. For those of us who work privately it may seem like daylight robbery for someone to take 50 percent of our earnings.

Monroe is getting grilled because she posted this on the public forum. If she posted this on the advertisers forum interested advertisers will contacted her and nobody will make a fuss because it is not our business. This is between Monroe and the ladies who are interested in working at her venue.

A person working privately cannot compare their expenses to a venue's running expenses.

@ Jiah firstly I have not always worked privately secondly non of the houses I've worked for did a 50/50 split some provided oils etc... Others did not. Anyway I've given her some advice she can use it loose it its her choice at the end of the day

I have recently been in contact with a young lady working at a top venue advertising on ESA. It was on her behalf that I posted at the beginning of the thread. She's quite prepared to take 50%. Its a better deal than most well-known venues. Remember I posted about the friend's daughter I spotted on ESA....her!Where she is now she doesn't even get close to 50%. I've been enquiring for her and believe me 50% is the better deal around. Places might not say they take 50% but after a levy for this and a fine for that and all the titbits they get charged for the ladies get much less than 50% of the booking fee when you do the sums.

Geepers... the possibility of making K40 a month and taking home K20 after "overheads" is very good in any SME business.

At the end of the day its about the small print and that's between Monroe and the lady.
