Well OupaJack I didn't make the rules, ESA did. But let's think about this for a moment. Suppose she lets her ad lapse. If they allowed phone numbers in forum messages then she is reachable without a paid advert. Thats free advertising for her, which is unfair to all the other advertisers who pay to keep their advert current.

The bigger issue, and one I have commented on frequently and consistently, is one of privacy. It is *NOT* OK to post personal information on a public forum. Period. I make the same comments when WG's do it to punters as when punters do it to WG's.
