Confession time.

I haven't punted since last year December. I have not even spent money on a gold membership this year. It's been a real stretch for me. But having had a tough two months financially has helped. Also having been with family 24/7 from middle of December to middle of Jan means there was no opportunity for a full month. It's been tough and a few times I almost folded. The real challenge is going to be from next week when I'm rolling in the dough again and have time and opportunity.

I do think I've learnt a lot from the experience. Firstly, it's not impossible to stop. This is the longest I've gone without punting in a few years. I think that the word "addiction" is the incorrrect word to use here. Addiction is a persistent, compulsive dependence on a behavior or substance, in this case sex/massage.

Most of the punters here are above average earners with disposable income and at least half a brain to figure out how to balance their lives in this purple netherworld that we so like. I would like to believe that they have a mind of their own to at least distinguish between right and wrong, and making the conscious decicion, correct or not, to be entertained in this netherworld.

The most sensible thing said on this whole thread. And looking at it this way I have to agree "addiction" is probably too strong a word to describe the average punter's punting habits.

On a positive note. I came home early and ended up catching up on downloaded new episodes of Suits, Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash. It was raining and the thought of sitting in rain and heavy traffic overcame my urge to go punt. Few minutes of streaming redtube on my big screen and the Durex lube sorted me out.
