I would agree to pay more CPI is roughly 8% so I would guess 10% increase on standard rates, however the ladies would also the have to up their game.

Great idea! Also, perhaps ESA could take on my services as a consultant and offer consulting services to WGs. I could then add a leg of income that can feed my habit.

After a large number of years being a punter I can tell you some of the things I have noticed...

1. The prices will stay the same for the majority of the ladies.
2. There will be a higher number of new girls coming in but more often at the opposite ends of the scale... i.e., the cheap punts and the really expensive ones.
3. The retention of regulars becomes paramount on both sides of the table as the ladies will try to protect the stable and steady income and the guys will appreciate the little extra effort from the lady as she does so.
4. The number of foreign ladies will shrink as the exchange rate falls... it is simply not economical for a foreigner to work in SA while every rand they earn is worth less and less.

None of this is based on any sort of factual numbers but merely observation over 15 years...

Service to clients should always be consistent. It shouldn't be determined by the economy.

Dont forget to take into consideration, foreign business men and foreigners working on contract and earning euro's, pounds and dollars? They pay in that same currency.

Ladies who look after their clients and offer continued service excellence may not increase their current rates as they know their foreign clients (rate of exchange to rands) will carry them through the rough times and, although it's not great for the economy in general, it can work in favour of the ladies earning foreign currency to some extent.

This also opens the market up to foreigners as the exchange rate favours them. Means more cash for them to spend.

There are many factors to consider that seem to be overlooked in these threads.

Since 2010 till late 2015 we where spoilt with low rates!
