Yukk, pls take a handkerchief and remove the bugger!

A few KG's of dry ice is thrown into a big aquarium filled with water with room temperature. After the last bits of the spectacular mist have vanished, is the waterlevel same, higher or lower?
Don't google, dry ice is solid carbon dioxide.

The water level will remain the same. The dry ice will dissipate into a gas. Did not google. So hope I am right

Think you are correct, as dry ice turns directly into carbon dioxide gas and does not melt.

I haven't the foggiest idea wrt the 3 q's. Its gonna bug me the afternoon now!

But, assuming the dry ice lowers the temp of the water (and depending on those temps), the water would decrease in volume, or increase (freezing points). Or am i neglecting a parameter- like assuming the mass of the water doesn't increase with the CO2 addition?

Exec, correct - no gas is absorbed by the water (which would be hard to prove by volume anyway) but the lot cools off quite a bit as the water is the energy-source for the sublimation of the dry ice. Mind, it's little but noticeable.
Oh, if ice is formed the water-level goes down even more ;-)

first off you're a good sport, withholding A's you know.
Your above is almost correct, however there IS a fluid-phase inbetween - but due to the enormous temp-diff's one will be hard pushed to prove it (in this example) hence we tend to call it sublimation, solid into gas, however not quite correct.
