A late Good afternoon Cape Town!

On return, considering it has been a long long time since my last visit, as I always do wherever I may travel to, I catch up on my favourite things....especially foods!

In CT the palate is focused on a combination of healthy mixes noone has been able to reciprocate anywhere else in SA.
The Lebanese influence when it comes to flat breads , and buffet bfst at the V & A Waterfront hotel (it is those jams and cheeses and pastries and relishes )...

Knowing this will be my last trip to CT until next year, I am making the most of work and naughty and everything inbetween.

Since my arrival on Tues it has been a whirlwind of Cape Town spoils.

Here I sit, after an excellent light nibble, realizing once again the good fortune bestowed on me to be able to be, and do, what I do.
A mix of much ,from one end of the scale... part of the rat race, to the other end of the scale many have labeled as... taboo .

I have written many times about the anomalies in my life and know for a fact I would be that much lesser the person I am today without all that life has given me and challenged me with.

So...here I am, after having been a month at the Indian Ocean, enjoying the Atlantic Ocean.

And after this...my home....the Highveld.

The common in all of this is the wonderful people
I have had the privilege of coming across.

From those I sit and watch...fascinated and lost in them, to those I work for and, with....to my sexsensual space.

It all started when I was a baby in nappies and my mum traveling on a train to join my late father in Sweden...naive, scared yet, willing to follow her husband wherever his work took him....and that was the first of many.

And then the wakeup call.

Then urbanization....the rapid building, insane wealth, "shacking", homelessness...the truth of society .

And walking and cycling and working among Capetonians always but always brings a sadness seeing the huge anomalies to be found in most fair CT. A province everybody seems to want to make their "new home".

Why?

I like the idea of making it a destination and spoiling myself with that approach of a "tourist "...and then back home.


You are beautiful Cape Town.

But, I feel sad when the plight of the most needy is made secondary and not a focus of the reality of what CT is too.

Today started when sun was still rising.

Coffee and foodies...and now the rest of day just for the naughty side of me!
