Affordable is a relative term. It means different things to different people. Sometimes a R 20-00 packet of cigarettes is affordable, and at the end of the month before payday it is simply not affordable.

Cheap is also a relative term, as cheap for you is not necessarily cheap for me. I think that I paid a cheap price for my Rolex, wheras you might not even know what a Rolex is.

So I am not seeing anything wrong with Sage's post. She is simply offering a better price for services during the quieter times.

Which, I am predicting, many more service providers will be doing.
And sooner than what you might think.

Personally, describing myself as 'cheap'(opinion based) is a reflection of poor self image. Not that Sage was conveying any such thing as I understood what her words were trying to convey, but found her wording to be unworthy and adorably unintentional of the endearing character I've come to follow on the forum. Sweet, smart and definitely not cheap, Lol.

My silence (enjoyed by many) would infer that I agree the choice of wording is akin to the author.

Indeed, as mentioned before, it would (unknowingly) be an insult to you for my 'opinionated' ass to have remained silent. Furthermore, your wisdom and tactful approach to criticism lends credibility to my 'opinion' of you, but it was more a correction from my side!

I have much to learn myself with regards to my approach to many things in life and I choose my teachers by the honesty of their approach to these percieved flaws that I see and acknowledge within myself.

Agreed though... weekends are quiet... but then again, most of our clientele have a family life and someone at home... so weekends are for those fortunate to have this...
