What's up SP's charging different rates depending where you ask. I messaged an SP on WhatsApp to enquiry about rates and I messaged her on the this platform. On WhatsApp she was asking nearly double what she told me on here?? What gives?? I'm no Brad Pitt but wtf??

Maybe they've had certain experiences from punters who got their number from certain sources. Regardless, SPs can charge whatever they want. You can either accept it or just move on.

Well....now she knows you know and will adjust the price on here to match the WA price. Well done.

This is a weird phenomenon indeed. I've had it on the same medium on different numbers and profiles for the same chick.

Once it was so weird. Been chatting to a chick for a while but diaries never aligned so couldn't book. One day, I had an hour gap and she was available with her other profile and I was in the area. I messaged on the number we've been chatting on for the other profile a few times but no response so I messaged (copy paste) on the current available now profile and she gives me much higher rates so I just leave. Later that night she replies on the other profile to the same messages with lower rates that she sent before but it was too late. I asked her why and she deleted the rates messages, lol.

Quite weird and ironic. I was literally there and would have booked if she had stuck to the previously agreed rates which she sent again later. But that moment she tried to fleece me for way more resulted in that immediate booking being lost and all future bookings since I've never bothered to try again 5 months later.

Also similar to what the OP mentioned, sometimes a conversation starts here on the forum and then DM and tou get the rates. Then I move it to WhatsApp for ease of communication and to formalize booking and even when you tell them it's you and in some cases show them the screenshot of what they said, it suddenly doesn't include this and that or that was the price and your ago but now it's this etc. Such nonsense just loses bookings. I just leave the conversation and move to the next wg when that happens. And that comeback with okay I'll give you xxx afterwards just never works. I've never taken it up after they try to pull one over, never.

....and yes sometimes the wg gets folks mixed up, and the price differences can be quite alarming.

When travelling away from home, due to incurred expenses to travel, my rates are R200 more than my rates at home. It helps balance the books.

Thus, in my case PLEASE STIPULATE IF JHB, KZN, CT or or...


When querying services and rates on this platform.

It would definitely make a difference to you and hopefully I shall not lose a potential client because rates shared may be different.

I think that is perfectly acceptable is is the norm. As such, I also ask rates again stipulating that I see they're in a different area so it's understandable that their costs may differ. That's not an issue.

But being the same person in the same place and the same time and giving vastly different rates is a big problem, especially when it's booking time and you're calling to book on the rates provided recently on one platform/number and get told a much higher rate which then just cancels the booking.

It's a fair assumption that if she's already giving you multiple rates before even meeting, then at the booking,you're likely gonna hear extra this and extra that too so rather just avoid all together.
