When ordering at Checkers60, the cart works out to R80.

Do you pay R80 or R100? Fucking simps, the world needs less of these, this is why we're battling to get basic services without an additional charge

I fully agree, being asked for tips is terrible. I was asked for a tip once by a lady some years back, caught me by surprise as I had just brought enough cash for what I was quoted. I looked around in my wallet and gave her what I had on me. She bitched and moaned that it was not enough for a 'proper tip'. I have never returned to that venue.

A gift should be a WILLING gift and NOT and expectation.

And when received, highly appreciated.

And I ain't talking about monies only.

I always think the best tip you can give is a return visit and referrals. Kinda like the saying, teach a man to fish story. Your R100 or R500 is gonna make a small difference now but the return over and over and many others custom is going to provide thousands more consistently over a longer period of time as long as the service remains top notch is wat more.

All comes down to pricing and expectations for monetary tips though. If it's cheap but mind-blowing, I'll probably tip, if it's expensive, the expectation is already there that it needs to be mind-blowing to warrant the price over others so there's no tip for meeting the requirements.

If a wg ever asks for a tip, it's automatically a bad punt equivalent to "can you cum now" 5 minutes in, doesn't matter if it was actually good or not, it is now fucked.

I tip when I feel she charged below the going rate for what was given. It used to happen more in the past.

I do the same, if in my opinion the lady "under charge" based on the quality of service given, I will tip

As car guards were mentioned, read somewhere there will soon be an app that you can use tip them, as lots of people ( including mine) "excuse" not to tip is "Sorry no cash on me"

Think this may be the reference

'Sasol is rolling out a new way to tip petrol attendants at its fuel stations.

Sasol said that Tipped, a digital tipping system, will make it easier and more convenient for customers to tip petrol attendants straight from their smartphones.

Tipped is a digital tipping and payment system that uses a QR code and a digital wallet.'

In some countries, tipping is considered an insult. There's its not expected that you tip. Those typically are where the staff get paid properly and don't have to live on the bread line.

Although I'm not a fan of tipping, I'll happily do so if the service is better than the expectation, but if premium rates are charged, the expectation is higher and there is a much higher chance of a repeat visit or referral, both of which benefits the lady much moe than a once off tip.

Already in use in CT for some time.

The car guard have a tag around their neck which you scan and viola!....tipped!

As to car guards...that is how they earn a keep.

I heard that a certain percentage gets paid to "organiser" of a certain area guarded and that one cannot just pitch and be part of that car guard team eg. At free parking at open malls etc

So to make a bit of cash and pay your stay too....not easy I would say.
