Theeroticreview.com for reviews. But you will struggle in the US. 95% of WG and MG only see punters based on a reference from a previous MG/WG. I know, its a catch22. Can be hard to get in. They do it this way, because their is serious enforcement and they want to protect you and themselve. If the price offered is low, be very careful - often police set up traps. Rather go to reviewed girls...Some might be willing to see you without reference, but they may then require some true id on arrival.. ENJOY!

Just came back from NYC 2 weeks ago. It wasn't a great punting ground. You being there longer than I was maybe you will have better luck. I concur with stommerik on the referral system. Others are insanely expensive $200-$400. Street walker fare is batter than home, and you can find from $30-$50 for a blow or a quicky out by Murray Hill.

The requirement to tip everyone no matter the level of service is fairly irritating and then getting around on the surface just takes so long. 30 minutes in a cab to go from 2nd Ave and E42nd St down to Soho... just to damned long.
It's dirty, busy and everything is overpriced. Nah, best city in the US is Chicago, clean, friendly and just plain better in every way.

That being said, it is better depending on where you are staying... Lower East is good, not as noisy and easy to get around by foot. If you are in the business district then be aware the carts and vendors close earlier then the touristy spots.

And if you want to punt, ask your doorman or hotel barman... it is the safest way. He will know a few or give you number for someone who does.
Be very careful.... In the US it is too heavily controlled and the cops love sticking it to foreigners going over there corrupt their ladies. you will be lucky to get away after a night in the cells with a heavy fine and registration on a sex offenders list... which is public !!!
