I notice that there are a lot of deleted user accounts and I was wondering why. I cannot see who posted a review or comment uf the user is deleted.

If I want to stop punting do I also have to stop trolling the ESA pages. As in "lead me not into temptation". If I delete my profile can it be reactivated?

Could be that a punter maybe formed a relationship with a WG and promises that he will ONLY see her in future...

Then cheats on her with a new username:-)

Nope. You need to reregister a new username.

Every punter who deletes their profile claiming to have stopped punting only lie to themselves. They quickly reappear under new usernames.

I'm guilty of this. I thought I could stop, but was too far in. I'm trying a different approach by only booking massage only ladies. With the hope that I'll 'wean' myself of this. But massage ladies are so damn attractive that I end up with blue balls...which can only be dealt with by booking a WG. The cycle never stops.

Even if I stop punting I don't see the point in deleting a user account. If you don't want to punt, don't book WG's. If you don't want to post on the forums don't log in. Pretty simple really.

When I stop punting (which is already a rather infrequent thing for me) I will still keep my account here open. I like most of the people here and enjoy the humour and banter and occasional serious discussion.

I think it is wrong to show users as [deleted]... Sure - let them close their accounts but leave the usernames next to the comments they posted. The comments are still relevant even if the user "left". I think ESA should look into allowing an account to be re-enabled, and to keep usernames next to comments when a user leaves. Just show their name in a different colour if it is so important to know that they "left"

There are lots of reasons and yes sometimes we do return.

if I may put forward a view.

The amount of reasons for a punter deciding to delete a profile is probably as many if not more than why everyone punts. We all have our own reasons.

What I would like to understand is why the focus on the profile, the comment or review is still there, why the focus on the account?

The value som of us place on discretion is really really high and I must say, the fact that account names are deleted is probably a good thing given your that your phone, email or computer can be compromised and that can open up a whole new world of problems in a world where discretion is valued.

So in short, I feel a lot better knowing, should things go wrong at least the fact that I deleted my profile is a one less avenue that could be opened.

Just my 2 cents worth
Have fun.
