So this saturday, midnight, bored and feeling nawty a friend called a few numbers of ladies in Durban. None answered immediately. Finally 30 minutes later he gets a call from a lady, with no number showing, he asked some questions regarding services and since he was not sure which lady it was he requested some photo's.

He never received any response. And of course, made no commitment or firm request.

Until the next day he gets a call from a white lady calling herself Sherise. She knew hisfull name, likely from using a service like Truecaller, claiming that he had made a outcall booking and not paid up. She threatened to hand himover to police unless he paid.

And then he getsthis message:
"Failure to comunicate wil result in p.unt coming to u with lady to id u.but 2 teams wil do calout with recordings of conversation a network confirmaton ,does confirm cal from your num to lady.calout wil cost u much more than wat is owed.cal asap to resolve mater privately.reards sherse."

This is scary but ridiculous. It shows the pitfalls of being on social media and okay - being stupid enough to use one's normal number - lesson learnt!

But guys - we need your advise on how to deal with this please!

Go to your nearest police station and open a case of blackmail.
