Kimmy life has a way of humbling us all . I also believe in karma . I try to be the best person I can cause it's how I was raised to be . I have also made my fair share of mistakes so to answer your question karma has been fair to me.

any believers that the statement exists in the world we live in.

Guys don't crucify me for this please...but my answer is NO.

I've seen evil people prosper at the expense of the innocent, and they continue to prosper even now, while the innocent still suffers. I've been in wars that destroyed many and had to sacrifice the good in me to be a worthy adversary against some really bad people. These wars rage on even today almost 10 years later.

Now people will tell me "just you wait they will get what's coming to them" and to this I say yes we live to say 80 years of age. Something kak is bound to happen to us somewhere along the line. Is it karma? I don't think so.

Now do I believe in Energy? Definitely. Positive and Negative energy can really shape your life and mould you as a person.

Ok enough from me. Sorry to be the bad apple on such a positive thread. But from my personal experience -- NO...

Beautifully explained,
Buddhist Boot Camp

"Someone tried to explain the laws of karma (the laws of cause and effect), by using a metaphor. They asked us to imagine a figure in the sky who not only watches everything we do, but rewards us with blessings for our good deeds, and punishes us with bad luck for each harmful act.

While the intentions of that metaphor were sincere, karma isn't judgment, it's consequence. We are the ones responsible.
For example: if you steal from someone today, it must be because you don't fully understand the pain of being robbed (if you truly did then you wouldn't steal in the first place). You set the universe in motion to cause someone else to steal from you one day, so that you can understand what it feels like. This will happen again and again (over multiple lifetimes, if you believe in that) until you finally understand and vow to never steal again."

Natalie....The BBC....I like very much...*smiles* and we're so many hey. Good one!

You are so right. Another great example of the force at hand. Great metaphor Natalie...*wink*.

I would like to add the repetitive force of the Sunrise and the Sunsets. The Moonrise and Moonsets. In between there's what I call a 'Time Delay' with the course of movement. Before one makes a decision to execute the action, one has got enough time to think wisely or foolishly about a deed. More than enough time to tread nor dread. By the time a decision is made and the action taken, you await whether it's in a short period of time or longer. The results will determine your cause and effect.

Miss Lizaan....the best way I have learned to give to others in any form or shape without expecting anything in return, is to give to myself cause it begins with SELF LOVE. It wasn't always that way that is why it was very hard for me to eventually open up. I fell, I made a lot of booboos tirelessly. And I'd say "what a grave/bearable MOEMISH.... Deep down inside I still refused to stop giving and I keep giving more and being content with what I have because I received the effect course according to perseverance etc. It took me half of my life to finally eat my piece of the cake, instead of the crumbles.... Lol

You and everyone (and I mean everyone) is more blessed than we think. We all share a lot of things with each other. Only if and when we grasp the vast opportunities. I'm grateful that I could help a lot of women too. I'm more inspired by all your unique skills and personalities. Stay positive! The harvest is plenty we need more workers.

*Namaste*

Suhaas Kaul in my mind says it best:

No one deserves anything bad to happen to them, No one deserves anything good to happen to them. It's just random good and bad that keeps happening and will keep happening no matter what deeds you do.

Life is a sequence of random events happening all the time from the time you are born till the time you die. Its like the brownian motion of the particles in water.
So no matter how much logic you apply to the causation of these events, all these are random. CHAOS

Karma is just a concept created by humans to satisfy their logical sides. When faced with the question, why is a certain good thing happening to them without reason, they attributed it to something good that they did in past. When some bad thing happened, they probably always did some bad thing in past that they could attribute it to.

Then came the confirmation bias. We as humans keep doing good and bad deeds and similarly good and bad things keep happening to us. This just strengthened our bias towards karma concept when good happened after something good we did and when something bad happened after something bad we did.

To me, Life is just a random sequence of good and bad things happening to you. So next time you do a good thing for anyone, don't wait for the universe to reward you. Universe anyway will randomly reward you in future.

And If you keep doing good deeds all the time, don't expect that bad things won't happen to you, coz universe randomly will fuck with you at times.

LIFE IS RANDOM. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING RANDOM

Good evening
Eddie
