I was recently given an option to move into a place in Centurion. Complete with full house and massage facilities. Needs a bit of work, it's a free standing house and the owner is hardly there, so been given free reign as to renovation and redecorating that is necessary. thinking of advertising massage and hand relief services too on a new advert and I will be learning various massage techniques to expand on my client base and skills!

Opinions of area etc please? I have no idea about Centurion. It might as well be another planet for me, but would it be a good location for sustainable income? The situation would mean I can travel around without worrying about rental etc when I return to Jhb.

This place is in Rooihuiskraal. Have no clue as to my bearings in Centurion at all.

Rooihuiskraal was a middle to low range of Afrikaner suburb.

It is now buzzing with up coming businesses and close to the R101 / Sanrand offramp. Have you ever visited our lovely friend Zenobia house. Well her suburb is on the western side of the Rooihuiskraal road and the suburb you are talking about on the eastern side. From Rooihuiskraal easy access with Gautrein and highways. If you are looking for an area with higher income population maybe Pretora East or Eldoraigne would be better.

Don't guys travel anymore? Do we really have an elitist classing system according to area that the wealthier demographic will not venture into? I really do not get this industry anymore! Things have indeed changed and I've got no idea what to do or where to do it from!

There is very much a lack of appropriate adult or related venues in the Centurion area.

If you read the demographic of Centurion as a whole, you will find it still has the highest population of well qualified Afrikaans speaking higher income people in the country.

As they are getting older and moving into retirement villages ect., a new generation of well to do qualified Indian races are moving in together with their children as the English public high schools in the area are of the best in South Africa.

What makes Centurion still very attractive is its close proximity to the main highways and Sandton. No I for one travel far less than 10 years ago. The roads in the Bryanston area,the East Rand area and very much the Pretoria East area are so congested, it remains quicker to travel between Sandton and Centurion.

So in Centurion you have the best of both world. The Sandton guys and the Centurion Afrikaner boytjies.

You should base your business on what clientele you are seeking?

Money pays for the whiskey and the tune the piper should play. So it must be a very important factor in your business decisions.
