An insult is usually based on what the person giving it feels they themselves would be insulted by, in other words, their insecurities in what others think of them. I'm a deeper thinker and have attributes other then looks to fall back on, therefore infantile name calling and insults just amuse me because I am beyond it! My post regarding age was based on bringing some perspective into why their remarks fail to hurt! Even with regards to insulting my intellect, their own actions and words achieve the opposite of their intent!
