After commenting in Julian's thread about surviving tough economic times i've realized that punting merits a thread of its own.

Lets look at how we can continue punting without compromising finances too much as well as ways to make our punting bucks stretch further. I've copied and pasted what I typed in the other thread and added more.

Contributions are welcome from both punters and ladies.




1. Discipline. Easier said then done I know. So many women so little time they say but indulging in more women then you can realistically afford is a sure way to financial ruin.

2. Quality over quantity. Be very selective with your punts.

2a. Analyse EVERYTHING before you punt. Play detective. Select your questions carefully when calling. Then listen carefully to her response. If she is not friendly /sociable then walk away. If you can make her laugh chances are higher for a decent punt. No matter how gorgeous she is if her telephone manner does not impress you let it go.

You can also pick up a lot about a lady by her comments and interactions with punters on the open forum and on her profile. For example I would much prefer a lady who takes time to respond to comments on her profile page. Even a simple "thank you" to a complement or a review is a good sign to me. It shows that she is serious about her business.


2b: Gold membership investment ( cos this is truely an investment ) Zoom in on every detail in a pic set. Its amazing how much u can pick up about a lady by closely scrutinizing every little detail in a ladies pic set - little things u will not see without the advantage of gold membership. Plus u can see comments on disabled profiles. With good quality picks I can estimate a lady's true age to approx. 6 to 7 years of her true age just by zooming in on certain areas like her hands, neck line , feet etc even with no face pics. There are certain tell tale signs that are a give away to age including her voice during that all important telephone call. To me if a lady states that she is 22 and I walk in to find that she is around 28 its not the end of the world. But with the skills that I have acquired with regards to scrutinizing for signs of age I know for a fact that when I walk in that door she is not going to be 36 ( no disrespect to the older ladies. Just used those numbers as examples )

3. Punting fund - establish a punting fund. I put in a small fixed amount in to a high interest bearing account every month. Any SPARE cash goes in as well. Try to look at other income streams to go in to this fund. U will be amazed at how creative u can be if u know that the reward is to spoil your self with lovely ladies. For example recently I started dabbling in sports betting. Was never a gambling man but ive found that by following a careful, DISCIPLINED strategy I have made enough for about 6 punts in the last 2 months. In that time I have not punted so my punting fund is growing very nicely :)

Please note that this is not for every body. just something that seems to work for me. If u have an addictive personality rather stay away cos it is gambling after all.

Try not to use any of your 13th cheque / annual bonus to add to your punting fund. To me that money is not "spare" money and should rather be used wisely. If for purposes of "spoiling yourself" u do choose to use that money then make sure its a very small percentage.

4. Be patient. Establish a strict set of criteria and stick to them. If a lady does not meet your criteria let it go. There are so many gorgeous ladies entering this world every day so no need to be desperate.

I'm gonna rename the "punting fund" to "naughty fund" :)

So whether its punting, a side chick, a fuck buddy or a blessee the money should come from your naughty fund. Keep it simple - If u don't have enough in your naughty fund to sustain any of these then you should not be indulging.

Great advice 330guy ... treat your naughty fund like any other fund and manage it accordingly ... don't let the small head manage it ... disaster !!!

@julian: im into soccer, rugby and cricket for now. The three sports that i have a fairly decent understanding of. Just made some money on the all blacks vs BI Lions this past weekend which was almost a sure thing, then springboks vs france. Also on west indies vs
India. Chose to stay out of sa vs england yesterday as for me it was too close to call and my schedule did not allow for live viewing of the match. Bet with your head and not your heart so patriotism is not a factor for me. Im in to make money.

True about the drawing bit. But there are plenty of opportunities to make money.

I made a decent bit of money towards the end of the european season. The strong finish to the season by both madrid and chelsea as well as man u winning the europa paid of handsomely for me. Also wits in the local league.

Having said that i did lose money on sundowns and england vs sa last week amongst others so do exercise caution. I try to not risk more then 15 % of my account balance at any time so even if i lose i still have opportunity to recover.

My strategy is to win smaller amounts of cash consistently. Slow and steady rather then going for instant riches. So patience is the order of the day.

Besides betting on out right winners there are tons of other aspects of any sport that u can bet on while a game is in progress. With on line betting its on phone and at your finger tips 24 / 7 . Ive only been doing this for just over 3 months now and only when i have time so im still learning myself

I disagree with some of 330guy's points:
Part of 2a - I had had great experiences with ladies who sounded kak on the phone.
Point 3. A huge bonus is meant to be used for punting.
Point 4. No need to be patient. Punani waits for no man. Go out and catch that punani
